2. In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads no content from third parties. The fonts are hosted on our own server. You buy the books only on Amazon; we do not take orders or payment details ourselves.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: your IP address, date and time, the page requested, your browser and operating system, and the page you came from. This data is needed to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. It is stored only as long as necessary for these purposes.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare under Art. 28 GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally on standard contractual clauses.

4. Links to Amazon

The “Buy on Amazon” buttons are plain links. Only when you click one are you taken to Amazon. From then on, Amazon's privacy policy applies (in the EU: Amazon Europe Core S.à r.l., 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg). We receive no personal data about you as a buyer from Amazon.

5. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the data once it is no longer needed for this, unless statutory retention periods apply. Emails to our address are forwarded to our mailbox via Cloudflare Email Routing (Cloudflare, Inc., see section 3).

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21). Just send us an email.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for us: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
